Slot3 - new video streaming and encoding service provider
Two days ago, we’ve launched the first pre-site of a new company I’ve founded with a long-time partner, called Slot3. Slot3 does pretty much the same stuff, we’re doing all the time in our everyday jobs: building video streaming or encoding environments, plus the applications needed to get it running, like videoplayers or video management systems for example. Now, add some high-class service and hardware, mix that all up, and voila: That’s Slot3.
But why a new company? Well, basicly we wanted to put all the video related stuff together and kind of seperate it a bit from the other stuff we do, like web- and microsites, content management systems and so on. So just video.
Most of the time we’re spending building Flash-based environments, but we can do other stuff as well. Sony’s Playsation 3 is a good example.
In the next weeks, we’re adding more and more stuff to our new website to give a better insight on what we’re exactly offering, plus some interesting blog posts on video related industry news, and other stuff.
