Is MP4 Streaming broken with Flash Player 9.0.124.0? - FIXED
UPDATE: Turns out that there were some problems with Flash Media Server 3, which already got solved with the FMS Update 3.01 from March 28th. So everybody, to get MP4 streams working, please install the update. Great news!

It seems like in Adobe’s current release of the Flash Player (9.0.124.0), which was published yesterday, is not able to stream h.264 over RTMP anymore.
First, check out this demo:

Next, try the
h.264 stream
The last one works like a charm in Flash Player 9.0.115.0 but doesn’t give us a sign of live in the latest Version of Flash Player.
So, where is, seen from the security perspective, a difference between VP6 and h.264 streaming? Right now I’m trying to find out more on that. I’ll keep you posted.
Update: By the way, if any of you has a working h.264 streaming demo (NOT progressive download), I’d love to see it.
