Flash Live Streaming
Update: check out this flash h.264 live stream, it’s more likely that it is online
Today I do some live broadcasting out of my living room for a presentation on the Games Convention in Leipzig.
The live stream will take about two hours and demonstrates VCS’s capability to do live streaming over the HTTP protocol.
The stream is not active right now.
Flash Live Video Broadcast (08-22-2007 1 pm - 3 pm CET)
Here’s the equipment I’m using for this:
- - Panasonic DV Camcorder NV-GS120
- - Apple MacBook Pro running Windows XP on BootCamp
- - VCS Live Broadcaster Software
- - A FireWire Cable
The cool thing is, that this stream goes through HTTP including a stereo audio signal.

Was wondering about your live broadcast Flash platform app.
Looks like you used Flex for your app. I was wondering if the your flex code for the live broadcasting might be available. I use RED5 for Flash / Flex video streaming so I would convert this to run under RED5. I would give the converted code for both Flex and Java Sources back to you if you have an interest in RED5.I would be keenly interested in your app if the Flex Code is available.
I use Flex 2.01 builder if your app is available as a Flex 2 project.
