MM Classes Patch for FDT, MTASC and ASDT Development
Here’s one which kept me busy for a few hours today. While intergrating older projects which make use of the mx-Package provided with Flash, holy FDT was spitting out funky error messages, like for example that there is no _parent property in the Video Class. Of course there is!
After surfing around for a while I’ve found out that the packages provided by Adobe/Macromedia are a bit buggy (seems like they’re even in CS3), but thank god there are also solutions out there. Check out the MX v.2 Components Patch article at osflash.org. Works pretty well now.
