Flash Video Streaming in Ryan Lowes LITBox (another lightbox approach)
After my unsuccessful approaches using Lightbox showing my Video Streaming stuff, I stumbled over Ryan Lowe´s Lightbox approach: LITBox (LIT stands for Liquid Interface Technology).
I made a quick and dirty example with one of my travel videos from my upcoming travelsite. The clip is about 15 minutes long (instant play by using real Streaming):
My opinion: LITBox works very good, is easy to implement and easy to style. The only thing is, that I more and more realize, that those lightboxes or modal windows are not really appropriate for my video stuff because of the poor performance of those windows. Anyway, for any other stuff like web applications or image galleries, LITBox seems to be a good choice.
